Provides an analytic philosophy framework from traditional western traditions for analyzing the ethical, legal, and policy issues surrounding information, information technologies, and the information industries. 学期任务有4个线下quiz，一篇critical essay和term paper，有线下课group work计participation。Quiz是multiple choice和short answer，每次都有practice quiz，考完后还可以重交改错，要回一半扣掉的分数，比如考了40/50，改错后可以升到45. Drop lowest quiz grade. Critical paper 4 页minimum学期中due，是term paper的前半部分，term paper 8页minimum。总体来说正常去section然后复习考试就可以拿高分。
