课程简介
Techniques for design of efficient algorithms. Methods for showing lower bounds on computational complexity. Particular algorithms for sorting, searching, set manipulation, arithmetic, graph problems, pattern matching. Prerequisite: CSE 312; CSE 332.

这门课应该是个难课来的，但是Nathan出题就是会简单很多。他考试比作业简单很多倍，完全就是学了就会写的考试题。作业还是有一些难度，证明扣分很细。

这节课还蛮有意思的，虽然是一门算法课却不用写代码，一直在design和proof之间徘徊，但是final太难了！也很难的拿4.0，因为平时多多少少扣一点分。

Algorithms. 对于一个三分课，作业量还是有点大，几乎每个礼拜都有作业，然后这个教授特别喜欢让我们写algorithm，然后每写一个algorithm就要proof correctness和runtime。先开始会不知道怎么去proof，但后来会发现其实他们对proof的要求没有311那么严格，其实就是解释一遍自己的algorithm，只要得分点讲到，就是满分。总体来讲，还是一门很有趣的课，作业认真做得分还是很理想的，教授蛮chill的。
